When a CD or DVD gets scratched, or even worse, if they break or get deformed after some accidental contact with a heat source, they become completely useless objects. If they still retain their original shape, you can turn them into coasters or use them for many other decorations - or as an object to be painted in a creative way. But an even more fascinating type of recycling of this material is to use its fragments as pieces of a mosaic.
