Kennels, or beds or sofas made to measure for our friends can also be built with as DIY projects, perhaps using the wood of pallets, or even using furniture parts for space-saving but elegant solutions, and again by recycling old wooden crates in good condition or even the drawers of some disused furniture. You can then equip them with pillows and blankets - to be washed frequently to avoid bad smells and ensure good hygiene in the home. Amongst the most popular projects to build are dog kennels that are made from pallets. Pallet wood is large, robust, sturdy and totally suitable for large or particularly excitable dogs!
With planks taken from old pallets, or other recycled wood, you can create real miniature beds for our four-legged friends.
Using pallet wood and similar, you can create models of any size you need, perhaps even large enough to accommodate two dogs. And then you can paint them any color you want. The important thing is to always sand them carefully in order to avoid that you or your pets get hurt by splinters.
