Creatively recycle glass bottles for original decorations and furnishing items
From wine to sauces for dressing, there are many glass bottles that we happen to use at home, and when they are empty we usually put them in the garbage. Some, however, could occasionally be retained and transformed into a creative object, All it takes is an imaginative idea to recycle the bottle in a creative way.
You can make them into lanterns, candle holders, vases and even use them to decorate the perimeter of the garden. The number of ideas are numerous, and sometimes it is only necessary to paint the glass, while at other times it will be necessary to know how to cut bottles with precision. Take a look at the images below to see how many ways you could recycle glass bottles:
A thick rope protrudes from the opening at the top of these bottles, becoming the wicks of a beautiful DIY latern to use especially during the evening in the garden!
Grains (wheat, maize), seeds but also candies: the bottles can be used just like you do with jars, as containers for organizing the pantry, and even for treats.
At the shops you can easily find paint for glass, and with these it is easy to decorate the bottles in a very nice way, which will be nice to see when empty, but could become excellent vases for cut flowers or for compositions with fake flowers, dry branches and the like.
If you dip the bottles in a little paint, metallic or not, you can decorate them in the blink of an eye to make beautiful vases.
If you cover them with a more robust, matte-finish wall/exterior surfaces paint and mix in a couple of tablespoons of baking soda, you'll be able to give the impression that the bottles are, in fact, ceramic.
The shorter but wider ones can become wall flower stands with a simple DIY project.
Clad with rope, or decorated with keys glued to them for a relief effect ... there are many ideas for creating original objects with which to decorate the house using recycled glass bottles.
If you have learned to cut glass properly and precisely (attention, you can do it at home but with great care), you can use them in a thousand different ways. They are often used for creative chandeliers.
Then there are those who make truly unique creations.
Instead of using solid glass blocks, someone has seen fit to use colored bottles to decorate a wall in the garden in this example. This is really original!
